What’s wider than Victoria Falls and higher than Niagara, and more beautiful than both? Iguaçu Falls are undoubtedly the most spectacular falls on the planet, one of Nature’s brightest jewels, and located in Brazil. The falls are preserved, together with a large surrounding area of Atlantic Rain Forest, in one of the first Brazilian national parks, created in 1939.
Cataratas do Iguaçu National Park is still faithful to its pioneering tradition.
As one of Brazil’s most popular tourist sites, it is the first park where IBAMA has given service concessions to private enterprise, attracting good investors and setting up an infrastructure unparalleled in other Brazilian parks. This is an invitation for visitors who once spent a few hours in the park, to plan on entire days.
